Supervive

Supervive is a dynamic action game bordering between a MOBA, a hero shooter and a battle royale title. It was created with online gameplay in mind and is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions. The development of this game was handled by Theorycraft Games - an independent development team, founded in 2020 by former employees of companies such as Riot Games, Bungie, and Blizzard Entertainment.

Gameplay

In Supervive we watch the action from a bird's eye view. During the game we take on the role of so-called storm hunters who engage in fierce battles in vast arenas. Maps differ from each other in terms of biomes and monsters roaming around them.

On the battlefield, we must be constantly moving, running, jumping, gliding, avoiding enemy attacks, as well as conducting accurate fire and engaging in close combat duels. The pace of the game is enhanced by a wide range of possibilities related to reviving fallen team members.

The game puts at our disposal a number of playable characters that are differentiated in terms of the archetypes they represent, fighting style and skills they can use on the battlefield. For example, we can play as a pirate dressed in a mechanical suit, an anarchist controlling lightning, or a fox equipped with a flamethrower.

Over the course of subsequent sessions, we acquire various powers and pieces of equipment that allow us to customize our characters to individual preferences and increase their combat potential. Thanks to them, we gain access to various new mechanics, such as dropping atom bombs on enemies, shooting lasers, reversing time, or even turning into a tree.

Game modes

Supervive only allows for multiplayer gameplay over the Internet. A number of modes have been prepared for the game, led by battle royale for duos or four-person teams, in which the threat to players is not only from opponents, but also from a powerful storm. The storm reduces the area of combat, and also modifies the gameplay in various ways, including changing the location of the arena or letting deadly trains into it. Additionally, there is a classic team deathmatch available, in which four-person teams compete against each other. The cherry on top are various special events.

The graphic design of Supervive is maintained in a colorful style reminiscent of cartoons.
